How we use your enquiry details

What we collect and why

We collect your name, email, phone number, property address and Eircode, property type, reason for the BER, and any grant or access details you provide. We use these to respond to your enquiry, confirm a price and arrange an assessment. This processing is needed to take steps at your request before providing a service. Required fields help us contact you and identify the property; you can call us instead of using the form.

We also use a temporary code derived from your IP address to limit repeated submissions and protect the quote request service. Our legitimate interest is preventing misuse. These codes expire after two hours and are cleared on subsequent submissions. Please do not include payment details, identification documents, health information or other sensitive information in the notes.

Who handles the information

Quote requests are stored using Cloudflare Workers and its database infrastructure. Resend delivers an email alert containing your request to our Microsoft email inbox. These providers process information needed to run the website, store requests and deliver email. Enquiry information is not used for marketing through this form.

How long we keep it

We retain enquiry information for as long as needed to handle your request and arrange the service. Where an assessment proceeds, relevant information may form part of our service records. We review whether information is still needed when an enquiry or service is complete, taking account of outstanding questions, disputes and applicable recordkeeping obligations. Contact Colin to request deletion of information that is no longer needed.

Your choices and rights

You can contact Colin to request access to or correction of your information, or ask for deletion, restriction or portability where applicable. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also complain to Ireland’s Data Protection Commission. Appointment arrangements are made by Colin; this form does not make automated decisions about you.

Website features

The quote request form does not add advertising or analytics trackers. Hosting and owner sign-in services may use technical storage needed to provide and secure the service.
